Nickel Oxide
NiO nickel oxide is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula NiO. It is a olivine green crystalline powder that is insoluble in water. It is mainly used as a binder and coloring agent for enamel, a pigment for ceramics and glass, and can also be used in the production of magnetic materials such as nickel zinc ferrite. It can also be used as a raw material for manufacturing nickel salts, nickel catalysts, and applied in metallurgy and imaging tubes.
